Two Hong Kong-Macau ferry operators will raise ticket prices for the first time in five years starting this weekend. TurboJET will increase fares by 8.5%-10% from Sheung Wan and the Hong Kong International Airport to Macau and Taipa. Cotai Water Jet will implement similar price hikes on its Sheung Wan-Macau route from September 15.
TurjoJET will increase its Economy tickets to HK$175 on weekdays and HK$190 on weekends and public holidays, while its Super Class tickets will cost HK$365 and HK$395 respectively during these days. Night sailings on economy class will cost HK$220 (Economy) and HK$415 (Super Class) every day of the week.
Premier Grand Class tickets will be priced at HK$495 during the day and HK$575 for night sailings throughout the week, and Premier VIP Cabins that seat four people will cost HK$2,480 during the day and HK$3,310 during the night.

Economy tickets on the Taipa-Hong Kong International Airport route will be HK$297 for adults, HK$226 for children aged between 2 and 12 years, and HK$165 for infants.
Cotai Water Jet will also price its economy tickets at HK$175 on weekdays, HK$190 on weekends and public holidays, and HK$220 for night sailings. However, its Cotai First fares are cheaper than TurjoJET’s Super Class tickets at HK$310 on weekdays, HK$329 on weekends and public holidays, and HK$360 for night journeys.
In addition, its Cotai VIP Cabin, which can accommodate eight passengers, will cost HK$2,480 on weekdays, HK$2,632 on weekends and other holidays, and HK$2,880 on during night sailings. Children over the age of one-year-old must purchase a ticket for all categories of seats.
